High School Equivalency


On rare occasions students with unusual experiences and preparation are admitted to BYU-Hawaii without a High School degree.  BYU-Hawaii does not require these students to finish High School or obtain a High School Equivalent, such as the General Education Development test (GED), as a condition of their completing their undergraduate degree.

If, however, such students wished to pursue a GED for their own personal reasons, there are resources available to help them succeed.

There are GED prep classes available on Oahu and sample tests are available online as well.  Some of these resources include:
